4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate longevitydocs.ai:
- Anthropic (Claude) — AI model provider. Your messages to Hippo are sent to Anthropic's API for processing. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
- OpenAI — Embedding generation for search functionality. Query text is sent to OpenAI for vectorization.
- Supabase — Database hosting, real-time messaging infrastructure, and file storage.
- Vercel — Application hosting and deployment.
- Google OAuth — Authentication provider (for internal team members).
- Resend — Email delivery for login links, invitations, and password resets.
- Upstash — Rate limiting infrastructure.
- HubSpot — Membership verification during onboarding (email and phone matching only).
5. Profile Visibility
Your professional profile (name, title, specialties, bio, location) is visible to other authenticated members of the platform. Your phone number is hidden by default and only shared if you explicitly enable visibility. Your email address is used for authentication and is not displayed to other members.
6. Data Retention
Your data is retained for the duration of your membership. AI conversation data, community messages, and uploaded files are stored as long as your account is active. You may delete individual conversations and files at any time. Upon account deactivation, data may be retained for up to 12 months before deletion.
7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication (JWT tokens with HKDF encryption), rate limiting, input validation, and access controls. File storage uses cloud infrastructure with access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Update or correct your profile information
- Control your phone number visibility
- Delete your conversation history
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Withdraw consent and stop using the Service
